The Official Website of Author Ashley Cowger
I'm the award winning author of the short story collection Peter Never Came (Autumn House Press), and my short stories, book reviews, and scholarly articles have been published in numerous journals and anthologies. I earned my MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and my BA in English from Northern Arizona University.
I teach Composition, Technical Writing, and Creative Writing at Penn State Harrisburg. I live in Pennsylvania with my daughter, husband (the poet Damien Cowger), cat, and collection of overweight stuffed animals.
My story, "How to Figure the Returns," appears in Volume 103, Issue 1 of the Santa Clara Review.
Check out the Great Lakes Commonwealth of Letters anthology, Imagine This!, which includes my story, "Today, Tomorrow, and Yesterday."
Thanks to the editors of Jabberwock Review for selecting my story, "After the First Snow," as a finalist for the Nancy D. Hargrove Editor's Prize. You can read the story in the Summer 2015 issue of Jabberwock Review.
